I have worked several on-campus jobs for EKU involving working with students (mostly Freshman and Sophomores). My recent job with EKU was an America Reads tutor. Though my major concentration is with High School, I worked with Fifth Graders and I quite enjoyed my time spent with them. I would love to be a tutor again because I truly enjoy working with young people to better themselves in school. Being a senior at EKU I have taken all of the necessary courses in how to work with children. I have a 4.0 in all my education courses. I don't believe a GPA says everything about a person, but having someone who doesn't care about their own grades tutor your children is a "no go".

I find it difficult to express my personality through a profile, but I have to try. I am a very personable woman. I am quite passionate about studying English, which should be a given. I enjoy the arts; I was in theatre all during high school, some in college when I find the time, and choir. I think finding your niche and honing in on it is key for success. I love to cook also, which is quite random, but recipes are like studying and enjoying a subject. You have to find what you like and work with it.
