I have tutored peers of all ages ranging from high school students to adult learners. I have also attended many trainings related to teaching and literacy development. I have tutored many students over a period of 12 years and I am fortunate to have strong communication and interpersonal skills that can work well with students as well as parents for maintaining good coaching and counseling relationships. I have substantial experience in coaching students both inside and outside the United States I find that it's important to give real world examples to students and then have them solve problems that are similar to ones they are likely to see on tests. It is also important to me that the students actually understand the material and are not just repeating facts.
